Chabada cherishing to win Betday Casino Games Handicap
The Ian Williams trained bay filly, Chabada, is keen to supplement her career success ratio from the existing figure of fifty percent by winning the Betday Casino Games Handicap that will go down at Kempton racecourse on Wednesday, July 4.
The Class 3 contest over 2 miles is set to start at 8:00 (GMT).
In the £6,663 race, the young Japanese runner will compete against 8 rivals on the standard track, where she started her career in September 2011, by finishing 3rd in the Betdaq Mobile Apps Maiden Fillies’ Stakes.
Following her maiden outing, the brilliant daughter of Bago, out of mare Taygete, marvellously accomplished three consecutive triumphs from January 2 to March 10, 2012.
The first race entitled as Follow Southwell Racecourse On Twitter Maiden Stakes over 1 mile and 4 furlongs was held at Southwell.
The next two races went down on the standard track of Wolverhampton---Chabada was a hot favourite runner in both those events.
This fabulous hat-trick boosted up the filly’s morale greatly along with establishing her well in the betting market.
The Flaxman Holdings Limited bred runner, stepped ahead to get a 5th and an 8th position in the two subsequent starts during May-June.
Thus, the fantastic filly has won 3 of her total 6 starts so far. Now, she is keen to add another epic triumph to her career chart. Her rich experience on standard grounds will come handy in the coming contest.
However, Chabada will have to face a lot of resistance from, Spensley, who ran each of his last three races at Kempton.
The James Fanshawe trained chestnut gelding marvellously notched up top spot in the Bunge Handicap over 1 mile and 3 furlongs at Kempton on September 2, 2011.
The talented son of Dr Fong, out of Genoa, went on to get a 6th and a 4th position in the two back-to-back races at the same track during November. Overall, the 20-race veteran horse has 5 classic conquests to his name.
In today’s marathon, Spensley will surely give tough time to Chabada, and there is likely to be a tough tug of war between these two runners.
