Chabada hot favourite for winning Duval-Leroy Champagne Handicap
Chabada has got the best chances of dominating the Duval-Leroy Champagne Handicap at Chester in England on Saturday, May 26, 2012. The winner of the class-3 event will grab a cash prize of £8,410in the end.
The going will be good in the 1 mile, 5 furlong and 89 yard race, which is scheduled to start at 17:10 GMT. A total of nine entries have been confirmed for the event and they are as follows: Cape Express, Pintrada, Chabada, Qahriman, English Summer,
Bradbury, Star Commander, Silk Drum and Rosewin.
There is a chance that Pintrada might miss out on the action at Chester today. He is a decent runner and has been doing a decent job over the past few events. However, no final word regarding his participation has come yet.
At the moment, Chabada seems to be in the best shape, as she has been delivering some positive results over the past few months. She will definitely attract a lot of bets in her favour today, as her overall record is quite impressive.
The four-year-old filly has taken part in four events, winning three of them and finishing third once. This goes onto show the kind of form she is carrying at the moment. It seems almost impossible to prevent her from winning the race at Chester.
In her most recent outing, the Ian Williams’ trainee was rated as the favourite to win and she lived up to the expectations of everyone in the end. She did not give any chance to her opponents back then and won by a comfortable margin of more than
two lengths.
Chabada will be partnered by Stevie Donohoe, who has enjoyed a lot of success at this level. However, he has a poor strike rate, which will discourage the punters to risk money on him.

On the other hand, Cape Express will also be the one to watch out for in the race, as he is in decent form. He has participated in eight events until now, winning just three times. However, he has the tools to challenge Chabada, who has won three back
to back events and is in extraordinary form.
