Chad Pennington getting the edge over Kellen Clemens in camp?

Question

Sounds like Pennington's numbers are a little better than Clemens in camp so far. Clemens has a bad rep of throwing interceptions, but has a 30-40 yard stronger arm. Pennington doesn't throw many picks but doesn't have the strong arm (45-50 yard throw at best) Pennington is extremely accurate in the 15-20 yard range though, Kellen just has long ball skills. These 2 quarterbacks are exactly opposite lol. I think Pennington wins the starting job because Pennington is a type QB that's awesome behind a good line, but horrible behind a not so great line. The Jets now have a top 5 line in the NFL.

pennington is a very smart guy. had he had a better line in the future, the injuries would have been less and he'd be much better. hes not that bad except for he cant bomb the ball. with clemens sucking pennington better win the job, or mangini will not be my coach of choice.

I think Clemens will win the starting job during pre season cause he has something to prove, and he  most likely will realize that this could be his last chance to do that.. if the Jets go with Pennington there no going back. so Clemens has to fight to win his starting job back

Truthfully I agree with you. Chad needs another chance, hes also proven himself over Kellen Ugly Clemens.

i hope i love pennington but he got hurt and went down the s*****r lol but look for a breakout year he works great behind a good line and the jets line is really good

Pennington has been leaps and bounds better than Clemons so far in camp according to all the reports. Bar some kind of injury it is his job. Hope this helps!!!
