Chad Reed and Yamaha?

Question

Anyone know why Chad parted ways with Yamaha? I would have thought with the heavy hitters the other teams have they would've tried to keep Reed on board.

I don't know i mean he's got 2 championships from 2004 and this year so maybe he wants to switch to try another manufacture to ride for. He has not ridden another manufacture since he was in europe or australia so since he is parting ways with Yamaha he is probably want to go to Suzuki or Honda, that's the rumors I heard of on Forums.

AMA/FIM Supercross Champion Chad Reed is back in his native Australia. And one of the things he is doing is promoting the new Australian Supercross Series, of which he is co-owner of as well.

He has his hands full with a 10 year plan to get his home land Supercross Series going full tilt....He has already dumped 5 million into it....I bet he showes up now and then.....

James Stewart is replacing Chad at san manuel, but the manufacture he is riding has not been confirmed. Because of this Chad has been forced to look for a ride somewhere else but nothing has been released to the public yet about where he is riding next year. There has been rumours that he is retiring but he has said that it is not true.

He has been spending a lot of time promoting his Supercross series here in Australia and getting a lot of media time with interviews and he did a big promotion at Brisbane just recently.
