Chad pennington possibly a viking? say it aint so!

as a vikings fan i will be severely upset if they sign Mr. Softee. we are fine the way we are. favre would have been nice to heat up the rivalry but please tell me there is no chance of pennington going to minn.

That would take some pressure off of Peterson, and maybe the Vikings won't have eight in the box. I think Pennington is okay, but he certainly isn't "great".

there's a good chance he'll end up in minnesota, it seems like a good fit for him...this is a team that can win now, and if the team doesn't feel like tarvaris jackson can help them win now, then it would be a good move to get a veteran like pennington...the problem, however, is that the vikings won't be able to take advantage of their running game as much because pennington can't stretch the field, so he's probably not as good a fit here as he would be in, say, miami
