  1. "Susi" is right, there are few Denny's in Mississauga, Brampton and Toronto, and I know of 2 in Niagara Falls ON, as she said the other are not known in this area or in the GTA or Golden Horseshoe were Hamilton and Niagara Falls are situated, our comparable places are Eastside Marios for OG, Red Robin would Golden Griddle, Kelseys, Casey places, Applebee's about the same or as she said Boston Pizza, Fox and Fiddles, Filthy McNastys and as for Dennys we have a Quebec chain now called Cora's Breakfast and Lunch, they serve large portions like Dennys but are only open until 5, Golden Griddles are a chain that is again along the lines of Dennys food wise and are in some areas a 24/7 operation.

I was a chef for over 20 years all over Canada and abroad and have eaten at most of these places in this general area, I am originally from Brantford and live in T.O now, there are even some smaller Mom & Pop places that will give you a good meal, large portions for a comparable price, so if your in the area, there is no shortage of options, hope this was helpful.

  2. Olive Garden & Denny's do not exist in Hamilton. Actually, Olive Garden doesn't exist in Ontario. Red Robin - no idea, an Applebee is more near Windsor.

Burlington is great for chains - Jack Astor's, Boston Pizza, Kelsey's, Montana's... I'm sure Hamilton has these restaurants, as well.
