Question:

Chain and sprocket for a yzf r1 01?

just started riding, and right now my front is like a 15 and rear is like 53, stock is 16/43 what should i set it at for a good ride...i was thinking 15/ 45-46 good set up with a little extra torque....am I miss judging this?

  1. Not at all.  General rule when you start gearing your bike is 1 down on the front sprocket and 2 up on the rear, then you can fine tune as you see fit.  A 53 on the rear, huh?  You must be pulling the front end up a lot.
