I'd encounter a few questions against the advantages of Glycopyrrolate(G) over Atropine(A) from an anesthetist
G had a longer duration of action compared to A (6hour:1.5hour)
1)If the process of surgery end in a short period, does the patient have to suffer from the side effect longer if using G?
During the reversal of neuromuscular blockade, A or G is often used together with neostigmine (N), G N has a similar onset of action where A N did not, A has a faster onset of action than N
2)The anesthetist claim that the onset of action using A N was similar.
G cause less Tachycardia than A
3)Doctor sometime require more tachycardia(side effect), especially for children patient.
