Challenging behaviour 1 child in group?

Hi i help run a children group but 1 childs behaviour is challenging childx mum isnt pushing to have tested for ADHD,saw pic child x had drawn,child x is 7 it consisted of a head with legs more like a 3year old,my 4 1/2 draws are more detailed,were worried about outings,as we cant give child x 1to1 which they need,yet mum wont take him,but we cant exculd childx,what to do and do u think child x could do with xtra support at our group.were would we get it in uk.

  1. Is it not in your Policies and Procedures that if you have a child whos needs cannot be met by the club/group then you can withdraw the child?

    What kind of group is it you run ie Nursery/out of school club etc  Who regulates it? Who deals with your staff's other training needs?

    If you update this I'll help you all I can, but need more info first.


  2. Hi, i have a little boy with challenging behaviour,  contact your local council childrens services, or sure start,  they should be able to help you. If you have regular care of this little boy you should be able to discuss with his school your concerns.
