Challenging books for the Sat?

My prep book says that i should read challenging books to get ready for the Sat, does anybody have any good suggestions

    •The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, by Robert Louis Stevenson

    •The Tales of Edgar Allan Poe, by Edgar Allan Poe

    •The Scarlet Letter, by Nathaniel Hawthorne

    •Frankenstein, by Mary Shelly

    •The War of the Worlds, by H. G. Wells

    All these books are great sources of vocabulary, and they are all part of  'Kaplan SAT Score-Raising Classics', where they come in new additions, where the definitions of the SAT words are on the opposite sides of each page.
