Jayawardene, the 34-year-old middle order batsman, had aggravated his knee injury during the 4th ODI of the five-match series, played at Sharjah on Sunday. The injury has ruled him out of the remainder of the UAE tour and he will
miss the 5th ODI and the one off T20 against Pakistan to be played at Abu Dhabi.
