Champion rider Tony McCoy takes four runners to victory at Newton Abbot on 21 May, 2012
Seventeen times champion jockey, Tony McCoy, guided four runners in six races to victory at Newton Abbot on 21at May, 2012.

The talented rider worked his magic on the runners, and most of them delivered the way he wanted them to, while some of them narrowly missed the victory.
The rider led the John O'Shea trained, Littledean Jimmy, to victory by a marginal difference of nose. Initially the victory was awarded to My Legal Lady, but after a disqualification, she was placed second, which gave McCoy his first victory of the
day.
The rider teamed with the Jonjo O’Neill trained, Amuse Me, in the New Alfresco Novices' Handicap Chase, sealed the race and brought the victory home by a considerable margin of 3 ¾ lengths over, Miss Saffron.
The son of Daylami, out of mare Have Fun, raced as a joint favourite with a chance of 9-4, which he used well to his advantage.
Space Telescope, son of Galileo, out of mare Matikanehamatidori, added another victory to McCoy's record, as he successfully broke through all the barriers and gave what was expected of him in the Newton Abbot Races Handicap Hurdle.
The J.P McManus owned runner brought everything he had to the table, and lived up to the expectation as he knocked, Wicklewood, from the first place finish by half-length.
McCoy took control of Nicky Henderson’s charge, Zama Zama, in the SIS Live Handicap Hurdle, who had odds of 7 to 2.

Working with the jockey, the bay gelding brought all he had in him forth and responded to all the rider’s commands.
The victory belonged to the five-year-old gelding, as he broke through the wire first, 2 ½ lengths ahead of the Evan Williams trained, Ugo.
McCoy tried to make the most of his trip on the Jonjo O'Neill trained Listen And Learn, who started his career in the Newtonabbotracing.com Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race.
The four-year-old bay gelding could not bag the victory, finishing as a runner-up, a short-head behind race favourite, Billy Twyford.
With McCoy on his back, Temple Lord was all set to take the Visit Our Winning Post Restaurant Handicap Chase.
Everything seemed to be working in his favour including market support, as he raced with a winning shot of 15 to 8, but he faltered and finished fourth, 12 lengths adrift of the winner, Dean’s Grange.
