Champions League – Bangalore burst out of blocks
The Royal Challengers Bangalore held on to some of their biggest international stars for the Champions League and it’s a move that looks set to pay dividends for the IPL side in the competition, if their opening match is anything to judge by.

Lightning-fast bowler Shaun Tait then took to the Lions’ batsmen with gusto, and while he conceded 36 runs from his four overs, by the time he’d finished his spell, Tait had also taken three wickets for the innings.
Skipper Alviro Petersen was the top scorer for the Lions, making 56 from 35 balls but it was not enough and by the time the 20 overs were up his side had fallen short, finishing their innings on 167-8.
The Lions now sit at one win and one loss from their two matches, after beginning the competition with a nine-run win over the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 Indians in the Champions League’s opening match.
