Manchester United http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Captain-c8314 and Serbian international, Nemanja Vidic has gone on to admit that Barcelona are the best. The player made these comments, following his sides crashing out to the Catalans in the finals of the UEFA Champions League.
The player is quoted to have said:  "Yes [they are the best], I think if you look at our past, we never played teams like tonight. We have to give them credit, they played good football and deserved to win"

“I have to say they had more chances than we did and we have to give them a hand and say that they were better than us tonight.”

The player then went on to state that he was disappointed with the fact that United could not build on the strong start they had. However, he felt that that the time that was presented to the Catalans on the ball, was the ultimate death of the Red Devils.

Vidic then went on to add: “To be honest, when you come to the final, you want to win and we feel disappointed we didn’t win on the day but we have to say tonight http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 played some good football.

"We tried today to press high, in one part of the game we did well but I think in the goals we lost we just didn’t do what we have to.

"We gave them time on the ball, they made the final pass and they scored three goals."
The match saw Barcelona take the lead via a goal from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Villa-c10629.
United had no response for the Catalans in the second half and had to ultimately bow down to the Spanish giants, as they went on to lift the Champions League trophy, while United were left clutching their runners up medals.
Nonetheless, considering United are one of the best teams in the world, they are sure to bounce back from this small setback, only to take over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and possibly Europe, next time around.
However, it is now going to be a wait till next year’s Champions League, to see how United respond to this defeat.
