Champions League T20, Mumbai Indians v South Australian Redbacks: http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mumbai-c820 seeks bounce-back victory
The Match
The Mumbai Indians will face the South Australian Redbacks on 14 September in the in the seventh game of the Champions League T20, 2010. The match will be played at Kingsmead in Durban on the same track that had seen Chennai beat Central Stags.
Both the teams, Mumbai and South Australia, have played one game each, both against the Highveld Lions. While Mumbai had lost their opening encounter, South Australia had put it across the Lions to gain full points. This will mean that if the Australian side is the winner of this game, they will have four points from two games, while Mumbai could be packing their bags to go home.
The Pitch:
The pitch which was used in the game between Chennai and Central Stags had a lot of pace and carry and made life miserable for the Indian batsmen. It needed someone of the technique of S Badrinath to overcome the issues and get the team off to a decent total.
Both teams possess a bowling line-up which can exploit the conditions of the pitch. What needs to be seen, however, is whether the bowlers are able to maintain their composure and if the back-up force of the spinners are able to do much with the ball.
Mumbai Indians:
The Indians made some strange choices in the previous game. For one, they had gone in with five regular bowlers, but for some reason, had left out Dwayne Bravo, who could have been doubled up as both a batsman and a bowler.
Also, after selecting the five bowlers, the captain failed to make use of that, and opted for a total of nine bowlers in the innings.
Mumbai will need to make changes to both their line-up and the mindset, as they know that the South Australian bowlers will hit them hard. Complacency could hurt the Indians.
The Playing Eleven:
Sachin Tendulkar, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/JP-Duminy-c1742, Ambati Rayadu, R Satish, Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, Lasith Malinga, Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh, Ali Murtuza
Players to watch out for:
Tendulkar needs support at the other end from one or the other batsmen, and it could well be JP Duminy, if he gets promoted up the order to the number three position.
South Australia:
The http://www.senore.com/Cricket/South-Australia-c844 side had gone into their first game as underdogs and yet were able to overcome the hosts, the Lions. The reasons for their win were two-fold. Despite the sluggish start with the bat, Callum Ferguson and captain Michael Klinger were able to smack the bowling around and the bowlers did a near-perfect job.
The interesting battle will be between Shaun Tait and Tendulkar, and while it may not last too long given that Tait is bowled in only a couple of overs spell, it could be the one to watch.
The Playing Eleven:

Players to watch out for:
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Graham-Manou-c1504 had a bad day with the gloves and was dismissed early against the Lions. This could just be his day.
