Champions trophy is postponed for next year. A sad news for cricket fans around globe. What you reckon, who are the losers.... Cricket Fans or the Two groups ( India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sirilanka, WI and Zimbabwe) and ( Aus, NZ, Eng and SA) who fought to dominate one another.

I heard the ICC statement when they announced postponement. The payments to Media have been made. Can be stretched a year. So the organizing Nation, Pakistan is the main loser. A lot of expenditure has taken place.

So they are the main losers. Pakistan Cricket would have got a boost.

Fans all over the World are also losers. Do not think the Political condition will improve in 2009; it may deteriorate further. And ICC cannot back out of its promise. They have already lost face.

Subcontinent teams are not much a loser as they have played enough matches against each other. The teams will get the much needed rest.

The main reason we have "two groups" is because respondents like you push the issue. Don't forget that it also appears that the WI had also pulled out and Zimbabwe, the les said about them the better.

The writing was on the wall from the first moment. It should have been relocated right at the start, but those stubborn people just ignored the warnings & fears of Western teams regarding the present situation in Pakistan. The loser is cricket itself, it was never meant to cause such dissention between countries.

even Zimbabwe's  white cricketers feel safe in Zimbabwe.
