Cardiff are without midfielder Joe Ledley, who has undergone surgery on a long-standing hip injury while Aaron Wildig (back) is also a doubt. Mark Hudson (ankle) is out but Kevin McNaughton (knee) could play. Doncaster's Dean Shiels has an ankle problem, while on-loan defender Jason Shackell, who missed the defeat against Middlesbrough because of a groin injury, is expected to be missing again.
