Ex-Newcastle star Nolberto Solano could make his debut for Leicester against his old club, but Bruno Berner out with a calf problem, meaning that 40-year-old left-back Chris Powell could be in line for another start. Newcastle will have loan signings Fitz Hall and Patrick van Aanholt in their squad, but Steven Taylor (knee), Danny Simpson (ankle) and Shola Ameobi (shoulder) are out.
