Chance for Clarke to prove Twenty20 credentials?

Will Michael Clarke prove hisTwenty20 credentials as captain of the Australia Twenty20 side that takes on Pakistan and the West Indies during February 2010? So far, Clarke has failed to post a half century in a Twenty20 international match and there has to be some doubt the added pressure of captaincy will do much for his chances of improving on past performances.

Michael Clarke has an average of 19.63 in Twenty20 internationals, and hasn’t played in this format too much at domestic level. It’s clearly not his best format of the game so it’s a tough gig for his first permanent captaincy role.
