Chance of becoming pro?

Question

I just started skateboarding a few days ago, and I was wondering what your chances are of becoming pro (I know it will be awhile since I'm just srtating). I was also wondering, how I could get sponsored? Lastly, does anybody know where I could go to a skatepark in th Clayton/Raliegh, North Carolina Region? I can't find any.

For girls, its MUCH better than it is for guys.  Less girls come out and skate, so when one rips it up, its a big deal.  Lacey Baker, Vanessa Torres and Elissa Steamer would not be pro if they were guys.

it's much lower for guys.  I recently 360 flipped my first 8 stair, and I'm not even sponsored.  theres too many guys out there skating.

basically, girls have a decent chance, guys have little to none.

you get sponsored by skating well, knowing the right people, and HAVING FUN. don't go into skateboarding looking to get sponsored, it won't happen.
