Chance of getting into Uk university?

want to go to medical school

my average fluctuates between 92 to 94

going to take AP bio, AP chem, AP calc, and either AP french or spanish

hope to achieve a 4 or 5 on the AP exams

how good are my chances, what else do i need--- be truthful

are extra curriculars important for UK universities?

best if you're an international student studying the UK..but any opinion from anyone is greatly appreciated

* i know to look at uni websites but want public opinion. ty.

Hi - my sis did medecine, and although I don't know what your AP and average translates to, it seems like your doing the right subjects.  Extra curriculars aren't that important to unis in general, but for medecine its really helpful if you've done some volunteer work in a hospital, or something relevant that you can talk about on your application as the courses are really competitive.

  2. I think your grades will give you a good base to get into any University you want in the UK. The biggest issue for international students in the UK is the price. Tuition prices can vary greatly. The best thing about the UK (and the application process) is that it doesn't cost anything to apply to a course/university/programme like the US and Canada.

    I think extra curriculars are good for any university and job in general. They help people show character and being well-rounded.
