3 children from 1st marriage...Had tubes tied 7 yrs ago. 2 m/c in the past year... one in sept. 07 and again in apr. 08.. hsg dye test revealed that right side has opened.. not 100% but enough to conceive... DH and I want a baby together so since all of this we have been TTC.... Now I am 7 days late and have had 2 neg hpts and 1 neg blood test. Could I still be pregnant and it just didn't show up yet? Dr prescribed prometrium to start my period but if I start to take it and just happen to be pregnant is it going to harm the baby?

  1. I don't really know the answer to your question.  But I would like to say that God has really blessed you!  Its so rare that tubal ligations don't work, and you are so lucky to be able to have it reversed on its own!  I really hope you get pregnant :)

  2. by 7 days late the neg blood test should be absolutely accurate. the hpts usually show accuracy by then too. my suggestion is to take one more test right before starting the medication. trust the results. if negative just take the medicine as prescribed and ttc again.
