Chances of Winning?

I earn points and use them towards winning a gift. Let's say I earn 25 points, that I can split any way among 10 different gifts. Each point is one entry. Do I have a better chance to win by putting all my points one one gift, or by splitting them up?

  1. 25 points on one gift, or 2.5 points on each of ten gifts. Either way you have 25 points in your corner, so my guess is that I doesn't matter which way you go - 25 points is 25 points...

  2. It depends on how many others are entering to win too! It's not just your points that give you chances to when , it's how many else are trying to win!  That's what your chances are! It don't matter how many points you have and how many you use for each item, the odds of winning are way lower if many others are trying too!

I don't know how many points you can save up, to better your odds, but even splitting them up doesn't help your odds of winning, taking them all onto to one item will give you better odds , then splitting up the points for more items to win! If there were only like say 50 or 100 people entering to win on certain items, well then your odds of winning are a whole lot better in your favor! either way!

But if your allowed to stock pile points, then that would give you way more points to use when entering! And better your odds of winning something!
