These are my stats:

• 1580 SAT score
550 Critical Reading
620 Math
440 Writing
At my school there are only certain classes that you can register for. As of right now, I have taken Algebra, Geometry honors, Algebra 2 Honors, and Pre-Calculus Honors (currently taking Pre-Cal). I am also taking my first semester of Spanish (and excelling in it) and plan on taking Spanish 2 next semester. I have never made below a 96 in high school class. I also took a computer applications class in my freshman year.
Clubs-wise, I have been very active. In the 7th and 8th grades I was in my school’s Beta Club (honors society). I would have loved to be a treasurer or something, but the other members voted based on popularity. During my 8th grade year, I was the morning announcer. I am a member of the photography club in my high school. I am also a member of my high school math and science clubs. I am also a member of my local FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) chapter. Finally, I am VERY active in a church creative movement group.
On my time off during the summer, I volunteer at a local nursing and rehabilitation center. Also, I babysat this past summer for 3 kids. I am not sure if this affects my chances but, my brother graduated from NCSSM.
A major setback is that my writing skills are not very advanced. Any advice on how to improve my chances would be greatly appreciated. Preferably from someone who currently attends the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. Thanks!
