  1. u should not join football just play basketball ..............so while everybody else is lifting weights u can be inproving ur skills(if u also play football u will get hevier(basketball=long lean muscle) (football=huge and bulky muslces)

  2. If Ur That Tall U Should At Least Make JV...But If U Work Hard U Should Get Sum Time On Varsity...Starting JV And At The End Of The Bench On Varsity...SO WORK HARD! U Got Potential!

  3. tht dude gwendol l is stupid jus because tour tht tall doesn't mean you'll make JV. If u didn't start on your 8th grade team depending on your height then and how many schools feed into your high school you may just have a chance to be on the freshman team. These are jus realistic surveys right here all I'm saying!

  4. It depends on your willpower and determination. You might be weak now,but you can be legendary when you're about to get drafted,or vice versa. No matter what, continue training, don't slack.

What position do you play? When you answer I'll check back and extend my answer.

  5. 1st thing be in shape - if you can run lines all day every day then your fine if not start running

2nd thing - be fundamentally sound - shoot high percentage shots (don't jack every shot you might have to impress the coaches), make your free throws (80% or better), box out when you rebound, play good TEAM defense, and whatever you do keep your turnovers low

    3rd thing- practice, practice, practice

  6. There are too many unknown variables. Being knowledgeable about the game and being tall is beneficial, but not guaranteed to let you make any team. How good your fellow freshman are may also play a factor. If you play center, but there are 1-3 better players who play power forward or center then you probably won't make the team. The system and style of your coach can also play a factor. Maybe your coach likes to play small and run or pound it out in the slow half court game. You may be the exact thing your coach prays for every night or you may be a horrible fit for your coach.

You described nothing about your actual game only your physical stature. Can you dribble, shoot, pass, rebound? I'm also and a rising freshman and my class has 6 guys who are over 6 feet and going to go for the basketball team. Naturally not all of them will make it. As long as you work hard on your game it shouldn't be that hard to make the average High School Freshman team, especially with your height. Best of luck and practice hard.

  7. Great chances of making the freshman team because of your size.
