Chances of the YANKEES making PLAYOFFS?

I asked this same quesion ago about a month ago. The majority said yes they will. Now a month later 9.5 games out of first the light is quickly diminishing. Yet new light is being shed and the Yankees just swept the O's.

I personally believe that the Yankees will have a chance because they are only FIVE games out of the WILD CARD. They face Boston and the Yankees have their moral high with the sweep. This could either MAKE OR BREAK the Yankees.

So what's your opinion on this?

Yankee play off shot not be a great one, but until they are mathematically eliminated, they are still in the hunt for a play off spot

If the offense picks up the slack, they will definitely make the playoffs.

The chances of the Yanks making the playoffs are as slim as they were a month ago. Won't happen.

As much as I hat the team, I give the yankees about a forty per cent chance of making the playoffs.  It can be done, but it is an uphill battle, mainly because they have to beat out two teams, either for the division or the wild card.

Their chances lessen if Beckett returns effective.
