  1. Gimp has many - if not most - of the features that Photoshop has, so it is a HUGE program.

    Countless large books have been written about Photoshop, and not a single one covers everything there is to know about it.

    Obviously there is no way we can explain to you in a few sentences everything "that u can do on gimp".

    Keep your eyes open, and when you see something that appeals to you and inspires you, look for tutorials on how to achieve it.

    Sometimes in life we need to make the effort ourselves, instead of waiting for others to spoon feed it to us.


  2. Gimp is an alright program to use, I prefer using Photoshop.  For free software though, I've found Paint.net to be easier to use that Gimp and works closer to Photoshop. Just my opinion.

  3. Make a new layer and have it selected. Take the eye color you want and paint it over the eyes. Now lower the opacity of this layer until you get the desired effect.

    For better results, I recommend putting the eyes on their own layer and then applying a grayscale effect before doing the above stated.
