  1. yes they still change pounds to euros but only in the central bank up in Dublin

  2. To add something to the other answers here - I bet if you find a bank to change them, you will be charged a nice big fee. When I changed Euro travellers cheques into cash in Dublin, I was charged quite a bit in fees. Not nice, and something I have never come across before.
What about offering them to a coin shop? They may give you face value without charging a fee? Its worth a try at least.

  3. Yes you can change it in the central bank in Dublin city (Right beside temple bar) but not sure if they still take cooins

  4. Charities take old punts, you have lived this long without it, so it is not like you had loose anything giving it to a charity.  Or if you can sell it for more than it is worth than you could give that money to a charity.

  5. You could get it changed, but only in the central bank, Dublin
I had advise you not to though. It is priceless, If you do not want it put it in the buy and sell so somebody can have it. you should get a good price for if
