Change locked details of a song

Question

Does any one have any idea how to change

the artists name of a music file.

It seems locked, i cannot edit any details unlike

other such files

Does anyone know how to unlock this to change its name

now is just a whole string of un-meaningful letters, its so ugly

Check if it's read only and change that if it is.

If your using Vista make sure you have full control in the security tab of the properties.
