Change my NAT type to something lower, as I can't connect to my friends on Xbox Live, my setting is moderate?

I have a moderate setting on my computer, but I want to change it to something lower. When I test my connection on the Xbox 360 it only says Open, so is there any way that I can lower it to easy or free.

I have a wireless connection to the NETGEAR 108 Mps Super Wireless Modem Router DG834GT.

well u cant lower it

theres only 3 seettings in nat ,open strict  modert and  u want open

u got a router and a modem? take your ethernet cable put it in the modem  and see if its open most likly

now  if its a new router  u should be able to change it in its fire wall u gonna have to call the company of that router for help

if u cant open the router firewall u will  have get new router  go xbox.com an they have a list of good router that work

you can also call internet company and have them bring u a new modem with more ports so u can plug it stright into it

or a differnet router

If your Xbox says it has an open NAT, then that is the lowest you can go! You don't have to change it if it's open.

Open means it will accept connections from Xboxes with a 'moderate' or strict' NAT, which are the only other settings that are possible.

Tell your friends to check their NAT settings because the problem is more likely to be on their end, not yours if it's a problem with the NAT.
