  1. You are 16, have you ever been to Germany?  You need to look up the rules for citizenship.  You may have to live and work there for years first.

Are you sure you want to give up your US citizenship?  Why are you sick of it?  Seems like a stupid and rash thing to do.

  2. I hold dual nationality and it's not a good thing if you ask me. Germany seems amazing to you because you are on the outside. One of my two nationalities is German and the other is British and I'm an 'Outsider' in both. I live in England and I see everything from the outside. If you lived in Germany you would know what I mean. You'd be comparing it to the US and let's be honest being semi-fluent actually doesn't mean much if it's classroom taught. You'll stand out like a sore thumb as you won't have the accent.

  3. Research this as best you can.   If I remember, if you want to become German, you need to go thru there Immigration, or get adopted.

  4. I'm pretty sure 18 would be old enough to renounce your U.S. citizenship. But I'm with stephanickety on this one. See if you can get into a university in Germany, then you can defect when you graduate (If you still want to).

  5. You'r only 18 years. You never been or lived in germany.I bet you... you get sick of germany with living there  only 3 month. You have not said one thing you got sick of living in U.S. hahahah that says it all LOL.
