you cannot actually change your Yahoo! ID

you can change your Y/A screen name:

1) go to your profile

2) click 'edit my info'

3) Type a new screen name ( you have 21 characters to work with)

4) click 'preview'

5) click 'save'

to change the name that the recipients of your email see:

1) log in to Yahoo! Mail

2) click 'options' in the top right hand corner

3)click 'General preferences'

4)change your Name

5) click 'save'
