My body is used to going to sleep at around 1 a.m. and waking up after 11 a.m., but I'm starting school next week and need to start waking before 7:30, what is the easiest way to start sleeping earlier?

  1. The best way to fix your sleeping schedule is to delay sleep until the proper time.

How do I know this? This question was on my psychology test and I bombed this question because I was too sleepy from unsuccessfully trying to fix my sleeping pattern.

  2. You need to go to bed earlier like 10 p.m. and wake up before 7:30 a.m. as long as you sleep eight hours you'll be fine but try sleeping early

  3. Go to bed 30 minutes earlier and wake up 30 minutes earlier, every day. Even if you can't fall asleep, just lay in bed. DON'T get out of bed. And then get out of bed right when you're supposed to; don't sleep in. It's not going to be easy or fun but 30 minutes/day is do-able and it seems like you need it to be that much because you waited until the last week.
