Change of Career into Museum studies

I am working in finance now but have always loved the arts. I'm thinking of contiuning my education at Harvard Extension School to complete a masters in museum studies. If anyone can give me their opinion on how realistic this actually is. Will I have a good outlook after graduation? How likely is it to find a job in this field. How do i start networking in this field?

  1. make both finance and art work for you!! smaller museums and galleries always need jack of all trades. Uh, I have to ask, what is museum studies?? (a former art student)

  2. Well Sir, I am an artist myself and I make some good income on my work, but I am still a child, not graduated yet, and yet, people pay to have my art hanging in their gallories, rooms, and offices. It's my passion and it takes a lot of stress off my chest, I don't know if it would be better than financing, but in my opinion I'm thinking you could be a major in financing and an aspiring artist on the side. Good Luck!! =]
