Change owner?

I am the owner/monitor of a group. I changed my My email addr and no longer have access. Others have monitor privileges but no-one has invite member privileges and don’t seem to be able to turn them on. How do I get set back up as the owner with my new email addr?

if your e-mail/ Yahoo ID that was recognized you as owner was changed to another new e-mail/ Yahoo ID, you need to log onto the group with your previous Yahoo ID- changing e-mail address wont prevent you from logging onto your group but not logging on with the ID that's in that group will.

You will remain the group owner regardless of your email address status. You just need to get your email address straightened out.

Did you add the new email address and select it as your alternative address in your Yahoo Account?  If so, did you verify it?  Yahoo would have sent an email to the new address with instructions regarding verification.  

After verification, you would need to associate the new address with each group you belong to as an owner or a member.  Go to "MY Groups" by clicking on this link: http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups

Click "Edit My Groups" tab.

For each group listed, use the corresponding drop-down arrow and select the new email address.

Click Save Changes.
