Change the www.geosites.com/ my username to www.my domaine.net!??!!?

I purchased a domain name trough yahoo! as well as personalised email adress. when I'm going to wist the website adress, It's written on the address bar: www.geosites.com/... .

How can I change that in order for the people who are visiting the site will see the name of my domain in the address bar?

Also, how can I remove the addverisments on the site??

If you purchased a domain name what kind of package did you sign up for? Go to webhosting.yahoo.com and sign in.
