Change things in the version tab of an app?

So how would I do it. Tried Google but can't find anything relevant.

Use Resource Hacker.

Download it from here:

http://www.download.com/Resource-Hacker/...

But, it won't be able to change the information of all types of files. It works with most software but if the program is protected by copyright or read-only protections then you won't be able to use it.

It will work for small freeware apps that are without much protection or not compressed ones.
