Change to a 12 volt system?

I have a 35 international harvester c35 truck. What would it take to convert it to 12 volt. The 6 volt system just isn't very reliable enough. I always have to jump it and afraid I will fry everything cause I jump it with 12 volt, so far it hasn't fried anything. please help me.

The hardest part would be to find a 12 volt starter that fits it. Then you have to change the generator, coil and condenser along with every light bulb fan motor wiiper motor, sensor (not many of those on a 35) and pretty much anything else that uses electricity.
