I am now in usa with B2 visa. How I can change it into F1 visa?

  1. You need to file Form I-539, Application To Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status with the USCIS.

    The cost of filing is $300 and you need to file it with the USCIS service center which covers the state you are currently residing in.

    Along with the Form I-539, you must submit your orginal I-94, the I-20 issued by the school and documentation that demonstatrates your ability to pay for tuition and support yourself for the duration of your studies.

    Form I-539 and its instructions can be downloaded from the website below, I suggest you read everything very carefully.
