Change what your telephone number appears as?

I was told that there's a number that you can dialed, then you enter the number you want your number to show up as on the person your calling Caller ID, then you enter the number of the person you are calling, and the number you choose will come up on thier caller ID.

Is this correct. And if so what is the number you dial, what are the instructions, and Does it cost any money? Thanks.

Spoofcard.com has the answer.. Yes, it will allow you to change your number, but be careful. If you use it on a business or City, or Gov't. number, that has 'ANI', or (ring-tip-sleeve') capability, they can see your real number!!

*67 will withhold your number, but if you use this feature there is no guaranty you get thru.....if the other party has there ACR activated!!!

it is not correct the only way your nuber will show up defferent is if you dial *67.Hope that helps.
