Changed password on yahoo account and my groups are no longer assigned to me?

Yesterday I changed my password on my yahoo account (same user name) and now my yahoo groups are no longer accessible. I tried to search for one of them and was directed to the page where you request access to that group, which I have already done for several groups. Please help me get my groups back.

  1. Go to the My Groups page:

    http://groups.yahoo.com/mygroups

Then click on the "Edit My Groups" link.

If all of your groups are not there, click the "Don't see all your groups?" link at the bottom of the page.

Verify the list of associated email address and "add a different email address" if you need to or "verify an existing one."

    Then click Continue.

  2. i'm pretty sure that you just go find your groups again, or change your password back. this should not do this... i'm sorry it did. i hope you find your groups back!

  3. Am not sure i have msn maybe u should do a little reading.. sorry i can't rly help

  4. changing your pass word has nothing to do with YGroups and being a member and actually people should change their passwords often.

I'm not sure what happened to your memebrships, but it had nothing to do with a pass word change- groups are linked by ID, not pass word. I'd suggest contacting the owners of the group(s) and having them check the membership logs- maybe your ID was compromised and someone removed you from all those groups
