Attitude should be more professional:
Mike D’Antoni has spent three phenomenal seasons with the New York Knicks and about to enter in his fourth and final season. His coaching abilities have always impressed many as he has been coaching the Knicks with great dedication
and vision. No one has ever argued about his basketball coaching skills, but his attitude has made several people annoyed. He is stubborn and never admits his mistakes. This is not a professional way to handle things. The National Basketball Association (NBA)
is the biggest basketball league in the world and in this league; this kind of unprofessional attitude does not help any individual to excel in his respective career.
To make a good and positive impression, one should always act accordingly and ethically. Mike D’Antoni sometimes show great stubbornness and does not admit his own wrongs. This constant unprofessional attitude would not help him
to become a great basketball coach in near future. On the other hand, D’Antoni wants a reasonable place for the New York Knicks in the very next season. He should change his attitude and try to learn from his mistakes if he wants to excel in the league as
coach.
The New York Knicks’ two superstars Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire are certainly very aggressive players. They always tried to dominate the court with their exceptional speed and brilliant ball play. Last season, the Knicks’
coach Mike D’Antoni and his aggressive strategy was weak which caused the Knicks a bitter defeat in the very first round of playoffs. D’Antoni, who always emphasised on the aggressive ball play, should involve his two best players to develop a well balanced
defensive game plan for better results in the future.
Mike D’Antoni is an intelligent coach and knows which player needs more guidance for improvement. He always taught his all players to play attacking game but things have changed after the last season and now Knicks should plan
a balanced strategy for their next seasons. Both Carmelo Anthony and Amar’e Stoudemire are very imperative for the Knicks while both play very attacking game. D’Antoni has the next big responsibility for both these players to tell them the importance of defensive
approach. This approach will not only help the Knicks in near future but also will ensure the next season’s precious playoff spot.
Be more verbally influential:
The New York Knicks head coach Mike D’Antoni was very delighted when his team successfully made into the playoffs. The Knicks entered in the first round but came out with bitter disappointment when they were defeated by the Boston
Celtics. This defeat was certainly very demoralizing for the entire Knicks roster but their head coach Mike D’Antoni came forward and enlightened certain ways to overcome that very defeat. In this offseason, he is doing extra work and preparing hard for the
next season.

Knicks head coach should be more verbally influential on the court and especially off the court to influential on his players. This very idea will also help him in the long run. Verbally influential D’Antoni will engage better with his players which will ultimately
