  1. Just keep doing things together, but try new things, not the same old dinner and movie routine.  Make sure to continue to have special "date nights" as they help to make you feel special.

My boyfriend and I have been together for over 3 years.  Sure, things can be a little boring and we're both very comfortable with one another.  We try to do exciting things, like vacations, and special dates and concerts to help out...but over all, it's nice being able to just hang out and watch tv and snuggle.

Butterflies and flowers can only last for so long...

  2. find new things to do together. Find something that neither of you have tried and go for it. It is always fun to try new things and to learn a new skill with your partner.

  3. take it easy.... remind yourself that things won't always be flowery and smooth as they were in the past.. things will get rocky along the way.. and that's ok too.. you will learn to cope with it one thing at a time... but thinkingof all of it at one time is not going to help! so relax and take it easy.
