Yup.  As manufacturing processes get more and more efficient, people shift more to a service economy.  This happens mostly in more affulent countries.

It is happening in many countries, they shift to services - services easier to do than boring manufacturing, it requires less investments thus are less risky. but usually real-sector production should keep ratio about 20~30% of GDP.
