Changes which could improve MotoGP – MotoGP Specials
This article is in no way written to offend the fans of bike racing but it is only written to present our opinion to the sport. The things we have noticed in the races and which we believe could have improved a lot of things for the spectators and added
a lot to the sport.
We have noticed that the gaps in the championship are very wide spread and they should be reduced in order to keep the sport lively. One could easily predict that if the race went clean either Jorge Lorenzo of Yamaha Factory Racing will win or he will be
edged by his old rival Dani Pedrosa of Repsol Honda.
We anticipate that in the next 2013 season when Valentino Rossi joins Yamaha Factory Racing the sport will improve because he will be able to make it among the top positions and is expected to fight for the leading positions in the championship. Cal Crutchlow
and his teammate Andrea Dovizioso of Monster Yamaha Tech3 have also done great throughout the current season.
Still we believe that something lacks, there should be something which may improve the thrill of the sport. For instance, tyres which may wear out should be introduced so the riders may get forced to device pit stop strategies. This is suggested after being
impressed from Formula and the thrill it has.
Yes we do understand that it would not be easy to achieve but we are sure that if the race stewards introduce such rules rider would be forced to design the bike in such a way that their tyres could be rapidly replaced.
There should be some system which may give the bike rapid boost in speeds which could be used during the straights. Of course, riders would not be using them frequently because it would wear the brakes if the rapid boost system were used frequently.
There should also be something which may add to the strength of the teams. For instance some teams may be known with their strength in the turns while other in the long straights. We do anticipate that such a modification should be carefully devised because
it may add to the accidents over the circuit.
For the accidents, we have another proposal. The chassis should be such designed that it may bear severe impacts without letting the damage transfer to the rider and riders should not be allowed to get back to circuit if the fall once, even if they have
another bike ready to continue with the race.
This article is just written to make the sport more interesting. Others may have improved ideas for the sport and we welcome your suggestions.
