Changing CA driver's license to OR license and rental truck?

Hi,

I recently moved to OR from CA. I'm planning to get OR license in a day or two. So, If I decide to change a license, I will be given the license without my pic for a week or so until I get my actual driver license.

My question is, Can I get a truck rented with the license w/o my picture? Is it allowed ? Just assume I have all my insurance covered.

Most rental places would need to see DL with your picture.

You would also need a credit card. Show your CA license when you rent the truck.
