How do I change pull up training pants on a 2 year old I am babysitting tonight? Do I put the diaper in the bathroom garbage or the kitchen garbage? Should I wrap the diaper in toilet paper?

  1. if they are just wet: roll it then throw in bathroom garbage

if they are wet and dirty: outside garbage wrapped in a plastic bag...

if you want wrap them in PT

  2. Just pull it down... if there's poo poo inside, dump it into the toilet and then toss it into the diaper pail.  If they don't have one and it's smelly, then I'd toss it in a plastic bag - just ask what they do.  If it's just wet, toss it in the closest trash can.

  3. just take it off and wrap it up nice and tight and just throw it away. if you really want to be sanitary then you could wrap it in toliet paper

  4. With Pull-ups, they work just like normal underwear. But if the child has an accident in them they're designed to rip easily on both sides to become more like a diaper to remove them (makes much less mess to do it this way then having them step out of them like normal underwear...trust me!) So if the child has an accident you can have them lay down on their backs and change them like a normal diaper.

As far as where to throw them away I would simply ask the parents before they leave. Just ask the parents what they prefer to do with dirty pull-ups. Some families have a diaper genie, some prefer the bathroom garbage, some prefer the kitchen garbage....its all up to the parents so to be safe ask them. If you're still nervous about the whole process ask for a quick run through of their diapering procedure. Good luck tonight!

  5. okay pull ups are easy. just pull them up.  But right away when it is soggy change it or it will collaspe.  But it in the bathroom garbage, if he pooped throw it in a plastic bag and into the garbage outside.

  6. pull-ups usually have tear-away sides, so you can just rip them at the seams to get them off and change them like a regular diaper.  if it's a wet diaper, just throw it in the kitchen trash.  it will start to smell after a couple days, so you don't want it in bathroom trash that is less likely to be taken out frequently.  if it's a dirty diaper, you will want to either wrap it up or take it outside.  if you will be at their house, ask them what to do.  if you will be at your house, you can use old plastic grocery bags or ziplock bags.  if you have an outside trash can, use it.  toddler p**p can stink up a room even through a ziplock bag.
