Hello dleahy,
Thank you for your message.
I haven't changed the hard drive yet but just wanted to know whether I would have to buy new licences for my Windos XP and Microsoft Word programs.
Since my original posting this morning, I found a Microsoft Small Business website, so went on there and asked the same questions. A short while later a lady from Microsoft telephoned and explained that there shouldn't be a problem as it is only when the motherboard is changed that problems occur.
As you see, I now have the answer and have now ordered a new hard drive so fingers crossed all will be ok.
Thank you again for your interest in my posting, I am very grateful to you for taking the time to add to my posting.
Regards,
Jodakist
