Changing Times not to repeat Taunton mistakes in Direct 365 Small Business Washroom Services Beginners´ Chase at Market Rasen
Changing Times was runner-up in his both runs over fences. The 6-year-old could have won impressively at Taunton, if he had not made one almighty howler. Taking an outstanding start, the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained managed to get a handsome lead right in
the beginning of Autumn Membership At Taunton Racecourse Novices' Chase last month.
Things started getting worse, when he blundered badly in the middle stages. The 11-4 chance jumped slightly right last two, and failed to show any extra pace in the final moments. As a result, he missed the top prize by one and a quarter lengths. The son
of Dr Massini, however, beat rest of the pack with ridiculous ease.
Changing Times jumped quite nicely before making that mistake. He is mighty talented, and must have learnt a good lesson from the previous fault. Certainly in good shape, the Irish-bred by Maurice Harrington, is expected not to repeat the mistakes.
And if he succeeds in doing so, he will be in a great position to take a straightforward triumph in Direct 365 Small Business Washroom Services Beginners´ Chase, to be hosted by Market Rasen on Thursday, November 22, 2012.
Ahead of going on vacations in March, the C. J. Haughey-owned showed a couple fine acts over hurdles. He returned strongly, and captured the second place in a small field at Carlisle. If we ignore his blunder, the latest ride was quite decent.
He is facing just four rivals in today’s clash, which will be held over two miles, six furlongs and 110 yards. The class 4 meeting is scheduled to begin at 13:40 GMT, and holds a winning prize of £3,054.
Changing Times is unlikely to face any major difficultly, if he delivers his one hundred percent. Blackwell Synergy has won two of the total six hurdle races in Ireland. The Jonjo O´Neill-trained is coming back after a long break, and could prove expensive.
Monturgeon has not yet found any luck over hurdles. Soudain has won a 3-mile hurdle, but seems to have nothing special to show. Wayward Frolic recently suffered two back-to-back tumbles, and would be short of confidence.
