Question:

Changing colors of yarn while crocheting?

What is the proper way to do it? I've been just tieing knots but I know that's not right.

  1. Knots aren't a very good way of changing color, because they can come untied and leave a bump in the middle of your work!

    What you actually want to do is start a stitch with your first color, then complete it with the second and continue working over the tails of the 2 colors of yarn.

  2. Yeah that's right! Just tie a knot linking the two colors together and your good to go! Have fun! :)
